If were to compare Black Lives Matter protesters in Washington, DC, last summer, to the insurrectionist, seditionist rioters. There a stark difference. The Black Lives Matter protesters was met with massive show of force: military helicopters hovering over the city, National Guard troops patrolling the streets and tear gas filling the air. The mob of President Trump’s supporters broke into the US Capitol on Wednesday, they were confronted by a far smaller police presence, and only a handful of policemen were on hand to control and stop the insurrectionist, and sedition rioters. After the rioters did their damage far fewer of the rioters ended up in custody. Why? In comparison, DC police arrested more than five times as many people at the height of the Black Lives Matter protests last summer than they did during the day of insurrection at the Capitol. Several independent sources companies complied results and analysis of Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) data. Showed that the white insurrectionist, seditionist rioters was far less arrested…Mmm. The charges against the insurrectionist, seditionist rioters arrested amid this week’s unrest were detained on less serious charges. Why? A different set of rules — laws apply.

On June 1, 2020 the protests during the summer and the Capitol insurrection this week were very different events — for example, there were likely far more protesters spread out over a wider area of the city last summer than there were on Wednesday., 316 Black Lives Matter protesters was arrested, and on January 6, 2021, 61, insurrectionist, seditionist rioters arrested. There’s a stark difference between disparity in arrests came even though more DC officers were injured during the Capitol mayhem, which left five people dead, including a police officer, and two more officers committed suicide. Activists in DC, and all over America, said they were shocked that a deadly assault on the heart of American democracy led to far fewer people in police custody than the clashes that erupted during protests over law enforcement brutality. “In America, it’s a insult that racial justice singled out by activists have been bringing attention to Black lives that have been lost,” Lets look at this matter in comparison to Black Lives Matter protesters had tried to enter the Capitol instead of the predominantly White pro-Trump crowd, in contrast, “Black Lives Matter protesters would be shackled, they would be carried away, they would have be shot, they would be dead.”

During the mayhem over 150 law enforcement personnel suffered injuries in DC over a multi-day period during the protests as reported by the Department of Justice. If we were to compare that the Capitol attack was also deadlier than the summer protests: Again, White pro-Trump alleged protesters are less likely to be seen through the same lenses as the Black Lives Matter protesters, systematic injustices in America is still alive and during very well and thriving. Black Lives Matter protests during the summer, and the Capitol insurrection this week were very different events — for example, there were likely far more protesters spread out over a wider area of the city last summer than there were on Wednesday, with Tump rallies was planned and financed with thousands of dollars. How is possible that DC, is nicknamed “Chocolate City”, on June 20, 2020, Chocolate didn’t matter, nor did Black Lives Matter. Will justice ever matter in America? Stay tuned…
